2018年9月20号七点整，湖州帕丁顿双语学校国际高中部举行了期待已久的中秋晚会。穿上传统的汉服：长袍广袖、系带束腰，有些女生更是心灵手巧地设计出发型，这让同学们看起来与平时不太一样，有着别样的气质。

中秋晚会

At seven o'clock on September 20th, the international high school held a long-awaited Mid- Autumn Festival Gala.Dressed in neat Chinese traditional cloth, the students sat upright in their seats.

随着主持人宣布节目的开始，绚丽夺目的舞蹈、动人心扉的音乐、优雅纯正的英语演讲、惊心动魄的武术表演、婉转温润的昆曲演唱……每一个节目都让人移不开眼睛。With the announcement of the host's opening voice, there were gorgeous dances, heart-catching music, well-known English speeches, breathtaking martial arts performances and Kunqu Opera and so on.

动听的音乐在四周环绕，使人沉浸其中。一双双眼睛齐齐看向舞台，眼中斑星点点，同学们坐在座位上随着音乐摆动身体，韵律如风流动。如此美妙的音乐，引得掌声阵阵，如排山倒海般涌来。

Beautiful music surrounded and immersed people. Differentpairs of eyes were focusing on the stage, the eyes of the stars. As music swung the body, rhythm flows like wind. Before such a wonderful music, the loud applause came to us.

矫健多彩的舞姿，一举手、一投足，都是那么赏心悦目，宛如一群小精灵在翩翩起舞。我们知道，每一次的跳跃旋转，每一个动作的衔接转换，每一个舞者之间的配合变换，每一个眼神，每一个笑容，都凝聚着台下的汗水、凝聚着孩子们的努力、坚持与热忱。而此时此刻，掌声与喝彩就是对他们的奖励。

Vigorous dancing was formed by the four sweat dancers. Every step was controlled by the muscles. Every jump was a big step of success, just like a group of elves standing and sweating heavily on the stage. The result was from this.

在晚会的尾声中，同学们搬出了早已准备好了的蛋糕与其他美食。一场别开生面的“蛋糕大战”，让每一个人在尽情欢笑中，真切地体会到中秋团圆的意义。一张张被奶油涂抹过的年轻面庞，美好而又甜蜜的欢笑，我们在这一刻，心贴得好近好近。

At the end of the party, the students moved out the snacks and cakes that had already been prepared. A new "cake war" made everyone feel the meaning of reunion in the Mid-Autumn Festival with hearty laughter.

中秋节是我国古老的传统节日，留下了许多美丽的传说。对中华儿女而言，这个节日所寄寓的团圆美满正是他们内心的愿望，每年中秋，世界各地的中华儿女都要举行各种各样的活动来欢庆佳节。小帕学子们也穿上汉服，在这场精心准备的晚会中，尽情地探寻着传统文化的内涵。他们用自己的笑容与真诚，温暖着每一个人，用自己的歌声与舞姿，祝福着每一个人。祝福大家中秋节快乐，幸福美满!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an ancient traditional festival in China, leaving behind many beautiful legends. For the Chinese people, the happy reunion of the festival is their inner desire. Every year, the Chinese people from all over the world hold various activities to celebrate the festival. In this carefully-prepared evening party, Students from Huzhou Paddington Bilingual School also dressed in Chinese traditional clothes and explored the connotation of traditional culture as much as they could.
